Marketing and Social Media Intern at Rock County Historical Society
During my internship with the Rock County Historical Society in Janesville, Wisconsin, a nonprofit organization focused on preserving history and caring for Janesville’s “Tallman House Museum”, I gained valuable experience in content creation and historical documentation. I worked extensively with tools like Canva and Procreate to design social media content, developed my skills in photography and editing, and participated in team meetings to understand the behind-the-scenes operations. One of my key responsibilities was creating a comprehensive database of historical events in Janesville from 1900 to 1999, ensuring future access to these archives for content development and research.

Ticket Vouchers
2024
I created two free admission tickets using Canva for the Rock County Historical Society: one for their 3rd Annual Vintage Car Show and another for their Annual Gala celebrating Rock County Legacies. With full creative freedom, I designed unique visuals that reflected each event’s theme.
Spanish Saturday Tour
2024
I designed an English and Spanish poster using Canva to promote RCHS’s Spanish Saturday Tours. For this project, I also created a customized version of the RCHS logo tailored to the promotion.

Tallman Arts Festival Business Card
2024
I created and distributed promotional business cards for the annual Tallman Arts Festival. Using Canva, I designed cards to highlight key event details and appeal to local artists. I then distributed these cards at farmers' markets throughout Rock County, fostering community engagement and encouraging participation in the festival. This project allowed me to develop my design skills while supporting the local art scene
Promotional Digital Flyers
revamped outdated promotional materials for the Rock County Historical Society. I designed vibrant digital flyers for social media and created printed versions for display throughout the museum and gift shop. By incorporating bold colors and engaging designs, I modernized the society's outreach efforts, making their materials more appealing to visitors and enhancing the overall guest experience.
