My process: I created this house show poster for a house’s first-ever show featuring three bands. I wanted a fun, colorful design with a cartoon aesthetic, so I illustrated punk rock cats to match the energy of the event. I took inspiration from cat designs on Pinterest but added my own unique style to make it stand out. Using Procreate, I hand-drew everything except the text, overall filter, and small information shapes to ensure clarity. This project allowed me to experiment with bold colors and playful composition, resulting in a design that captures the DIY spirit of a house show.
